Position Overview
As a Senior Financial Analyst within the Sales Finance team, you will play a crucial role in delivering financial insights and support to our sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
1. Manage Trade and Customer Investment to effectively allocate resources that enhance ROI for the sales division.
2. Collaborate with Sales leadership and planning teams to offer financial guidance and substantiate investment cases.
3. Serve as the primary contact for the ITC/deductions team.
4. Oversee the month-end and quarter-end closing processes, ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
5. Assist in the monthly forecasting and budgeting activities.
6. Monitor overhead expenditures for the sales channel.
7. Prepare monthly financial reports and presentations.
8. Analyze historical performance, results, and competitor data to provide recommendations that foster sustainable value creation.
9. Address ad hoc financial requests.
10. Drive results by proactively suggesting updates to processes and procedures to meet leadership needs.
11. Champion continuous improvement by identifying areas for standardization and enhancement.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years of relevant experience.
- Preferred experience in Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) within a commercial context.
- Bachelor's degree in finance or a related discipline is required.
- A strong desire for learning and business insight.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with financial modeling.
- Experience in trade and investment analysis.
- Strong communication skills, capable of simplifying complex information for diverse audiences.
