POSITION SUMMARY

As a key member of our research and development team, you will play a vital role in the exploration, enhancement, and innovation of Gentex technologies. Your responsibilities will encompass the research, development, testing, and evaluation of cutting-edge technologies, processes, and applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and innovate new materials, devices, and processes to support the advancement of our product portfolio.
  • Assist in troubleshooting production-related challenges involving materials and products as needed.
  • Conduct analyses of competitor patents relevant to our initiatives, supporting patent applications and related activities.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to identify technologies that enhance quality, reduce costs, or streamline manufacturing processes.
  • Maintain thorough documentation and analysis of experimental data, ensuring accurate records of results.
  • Lead project teams by organizing meetings, documenting minutes, tracking progress, and reporting findings to senior management.
  • Engage in various laboratory tasks related to research projects across different R&D divisions.
  • Support manufacturing operations to ensure that current processes and products adhere to quality standards.
  • Provide assistance to team members in their research and development tasks when necessary.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to facilitate smooth transitions of products into production.
  • Coordinate the assembly and testing of new products and processes.
  • Participate in technical collaborations with colleagues from other departments or divisions.
  • Commit to continuous learning and expertise development in your technical field, offering guidance to others as required.
