Pediatric Clinic Technician

Job Summary:
The Pediatric Clinic Technician is a vital member of our healthcare team, providing exceptional patient care and support in a fast-paced clinic environment. As a Pediatric Clinic Technician, you will work closely with our healthcare professionals to ensure the highest level of patient satisfaction and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collect patient information and obtain vital signs, reporting findings to healthcare providers and recording documentation in a timely manner.
- Perform chart review and pre-visit planning prior to clinic visits.
- Manage schedule tracking and referral reports.
- Coordinate prescription assistance programs and pre-authorizations for clinic patients.
- Perform other tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- American Heart Association BLS certification.
- Courses in Medical Terminology.
- Nurse Aid training or non-certified graduate of medical assistant program.
- EMT, CNA, or healthcare-related certifications.
- Experience working with protected health information and electronic health records.
- Two years of medical/clinical office experience.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong emotional intelligence, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work in a busy and stressful environment.
- Ability to work varied shifts.
- Detail-oriented, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize.
- Exercises tact, discretion, sensitivity, and maintains confidentiality.
