CUSTOMER SERVICE:
Recognizes the importance of representing Elder Care of Bemidji positively in all communications. Strives to deliver exceptional customer service, understanding that it is the cornerstone of effective public relations.

RESIDENTS:
Maintains strict confidentiality regarding resident information. Addresses concerns promptly and communicates resolutions to the appropriate personnel. Advocates for residents' rights and adheres to mandated reporting responsibilities for vulnerable adults.

CLEANING OPERATIONS:
Adheres to the established cleaning schedule and departmental protocols to ensure all areas, including tile and carpeted spaces, are kept in pristine condition. Responsible for the stripping, waxing, and buffing of floors, while meticulously documenting maintenance activities. Performs routine tasks such as emptying trash and replacing light bulbs, and assists with grounds maintenance, including snow removal and landscaping.

SUPPLY MANAGEMENT:
Monitors supply levels and informs supervisors when orders are necessary. Participates in training sessions as directed and engages in resident rounds to foster community.

COST CONTROL:
Contributes to budget management by utilizing equipment and supplies efficiently and organizing tasks effectively. Understands the relationship between facility occupancy and financial health, adjusting work hours as needed during low census periods.

FACILITY MAINTENANCE:
Takes pride in the cleanliness and safety of the facility. Responsible for reporting maintenance needs and ensuring a tidy environment by managing debris and spills promptly.

PROFESSIONALISM:
Follows the established chain of command for departmental matters. Maintains a professional appearance and adheres to hygiene standards, wearing identification at all times.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Ability to follow both verbal and written instructions.
• Experience with floor care and janitorial equipment.
• A genuine respect for the elderly and individuals with physical or mental challenges.
• Capability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.
