About the Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to join our team at Avamere at Waterford. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social needs are met.
Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care and assistance to residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, and eating.
- Assist with the Life Enrichment Program and encourage residents to participate in activities that promote mental and physical stimulation.
- Document and communicate any changes pertaining to residents and complete all reports in a timely manner.
- Respond to resident calls and emergencies promptly and provide first aid assistance and specialized caregiving as needed.
- Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information in accordance with HIPAA guidelines.
Requirements:
- Have knowledge and experience caring for and interacting with elders.
- Possess a passion for caregiving and a desire to help others.
