Job Overview

The Detroit Medical Center (DMC) is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our esteemed team in the Obstetric/Women Wing/Labor & Delivery department.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional patient care, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for mothers and newborns.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive care, promoting positive health outcomes.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals, fostering trust and understanding.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training, staying updated on best practices and evidence-based protocols.
  • Contribute to a culture of quality improvement, identifying areas for enhancement and implementing solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Michigan.
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing or related field.
  • Experience in obstetric nursing, preferably in a leadership role.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple responsibilities, and maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
