What You'll Do:
As a Digital Verification Engineer, you'll be part of our Advanced Digital Engineering organization, creating the next generation of communications and signal processing systems. You'll work in our San Diego labs, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring design to life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Scope of responsibility includes simulation and verification of FPGA/CPLD designs, requirements, and system validation
- Develop verification plans, test benches, bus functional models, and HW-SW integration debugging
- Communicate effectively with members of cross-functional teams and program management
- Opportunity to advance and form the verification process for wireless products
- Proven ability to drive complex technical problems to closure
- Proven ability to lead product delivery
This position is contingent upon program award and final clearance.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other STEM discipline with 5 years of digital verification engineering experience
- Hands-on experience in VHDL within the last 3 years
- FPGA development process experience (requirements definition, conceptual design, detailed design, verification, and production release)
- Experience developing verification plans, test benches, bus functional models, and HW-SW integration debugging
- Experience with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Tools such as QuestaSim
- Clearance: A final DoD Secret clearance is required to start
- US Citizenship is required in order to obtain and maintain security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with scripting languages for Verification automation (Perl, TCL, Bash, and Makefile)
- Knowledge of Computer Architectures and Digital design (Memories, bus standards, microprocessors)
- Experience with functional verification methodology for the full life cycle of products
- SoC verification and hardware accelerated simulation experience
- Active/Current DoD Secret Clearance or higher level MSSDEAS
Salary Range: $118,000 - $177,000
