Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Verification Engineer to join our Advanced Digital Engineering organization in San Diego, CA. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing verification processes, procedures, and architectures for wireless systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain verification plans, test benches, and bus functional models for FPGA/CPLD designs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective communication and coordination
  • Lead teams through product implementation and demonstration, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality results
  • Develop and implement verification automation scripts using scripting languages such as Perl, TCL, Bash, and Makefile
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in digital design and verification concepts
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or other STEM discipline with 14 years of digital verification engineering experience
  • Hands-on experience in VHDL within the last 3 years
  • FPGA development process experience, including requirements definition, conceptual design, detailed design, verification, and production release
  • Experience with Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Tools: QuestaSim
  • US Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain security clearance
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with leading teams with various levels of experience and skills
  • Experience with the management of schedule, cost, and metric reporting
  • Experience with Proposals and creating Basis of Estimates
  • SoC verification and hardware accelerated simulation experience
