Position Summary:
We are seeking a Civil/Structural Professional Engineer to become an integral part of our dynamic team. This role can be based in either Eugene, Oregon or Atlanta, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and detail structural frameworks for a variety of materials including steel, concrete, wood, and masonry.
- Conduct field assessments to evaluate existing structural conditions.
- Create comprehensive structural calculation packages for client approval and permitting processes.
- Prepare and oversee the development of design documentation for drafting purposes.
- Generate structural condition assessment reports.
- Supervise the drafting of construction drawings and ensure quality control.
- Mentor junior engineers and review their work to foster professional growth.

Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a closely related field is required.
- A Professional Engineering license in at least one U.S. state is mandatory, with the capability to obtain licensure in additional states.
- A minimum of 6 years of experience in structural engineering, particularly in industrial settings, is preferred.
- Strong expertise in steel and concrete design is essential.
- Familiarity with the International Building Code and relevant structural standards (such as ASCE 7, AISC 360, ACI 318) is crucial.
- Proficiency in generating engineering sketches and directing the drafting process.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to solve problems effectively.
