About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with a passion for delivering high-quality patient care to join our team as a Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist. This full-time position will be based in our Haverford Primary Care office and require evening shifts and rotating Saturday shifts.

 

About the Job

Job Summary: Provide safe nursing care to patients with moderate to complex health issues, working collaboratively with the Site Manager and Ambulatory Nursing Director to ensure administrative policies and clinical protocols are followed. As a Pediatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, you will be responsible for synthesizing patient assessment data, collaborating with families and caregivers, and participating in efforts to apply research findings to clinical practice.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Nursing Process: Deliver safe care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation
  • Clinical Judgment: Synthesize patient assessment data, recognize complex situations, and communicate effectively with the care team
  • Care Coordination: Collaborate with families, team members, and other caregivers to initiate or update plans of care, patient education, and discharge needs
  • Patient Care Management: Manage care of complex patients, utilizing proper prioritization and delegation to appropriate staff
  • Documentation: Reflect ongoing evaluation and effectiveness of patient care, using current hospital standards, policies, and procedures

 

Requirements:

  • Education Qualifications: Technical Diploma in Nursing; Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred
  • Experience Qualifications: At least two years of nursing experience; pediatric experience preferred; previous supervisory experience preferred
  • Skills and Abilities: Computer competency, basic use of Microsoft Office, web browsing, and information literacy

 

Salary Information: We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additionally, we provide a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement savings plan, paid time off, and continuing education opportunities.
