Job Description

A Clinical Communication Specialist is required for a part-time position in Tuxedo Park, NY. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years' experience in speech therapy and hold a Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.

The salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address these disorders.
  • Collaborate with caregivers, families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Monitor patient progress and maintain accurate records of treatment outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
  • Active licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist in New York State.
  • ASHA certification (CCC-SLP) is preferred.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is an asset.
  • Familiarity with augmentative and alternative communication devices (AAC).
  • Knowledge of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
