About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cybersecurity and Compliance Specialist to join our team at Guidehouse. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting clients with IT controls audit/assessments, remediation, and other related efforts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT control frameworks and regulations, as well as experience performing IT control audits and assessments. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with clients and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
  • Performing IT control audits and assessments to identify vulnerabilities and areas for improvement
  • Developing and implementing remediation plans to address identified weaknesses
  • Collaborating with clients to understand and analyze known IT control weaknesses, identify root causes, and develop detailed, robust remediation plans
  • Providing subject matter expertise to clients on all matters relating to IT controls

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 2+ years of experience in IT controls, audit, assessment, or remediation
  • Able to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust
