Overview

Cybersecurity is a critical aspect of Capital One's operations, and the company is seeking a skilled professional to lead its Information Security Office. As Sr. Director, Information Security Officer, you will play a key role in protecting the company's customers and associates from cyber threats.


Job Summary

This senior leadership position is responsible for leading the development and implementation of information security strategies across Capital One. You will work closely with business leaders and technology partners to identify and mitigate risks, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, and drive innovation in cybersecurity.

In this role, you will:

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 9 years of experience in information security
  • At least 7 years of experience in people management
  • Strong technical knowledge of information security principles and practices
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
