Compensation and Work Schedule:

  • PRN (as needed) shifts available
  • Base pay of $20.50 per hour

Role Responsibilities:

  • Timely reporting of controlled substance documentation to the charge nurse.
  • Safely preparing and administering various forms of medication as prescribed.
  • Verifying resident identity prior to medication administration, ensuring accuracy in dosage and timing.
  • Ensuring all administered medications are correctly labeled.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of experience as a Certified Geriatric Nursing Assistant.
  • Valid Medicine Aide Certification from the State of Maryland.
  • Current Geriatric Nursing Assistant Certification from the State of Maryland.
