We are looking for an exceptional National Director of Palliative Medicine to oversee our initiatives in advanced illness management and palliative care. This pivotal role will report to the Senior Vice President of Palliative Services and will be instrumental in shaping the future of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on patient care management to local teams and clinical personnel.
- Ensure adherence to healthcare regulations and internal policies.
- Evaluate palliative and advanced illness management documentation for quality improvement and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
- Doctorate in allopathic or osteopathic medicine.
- Board certification in a specialty acknowledged by ABMS or AOA-BOS.
- Outstanding leadership capabilities and a commitment to palliative care.
- Recognized authority in palliative medicine within the community.
- Excellent presentation and public speaking abilities.
- Valid medical licenses and certifications.
- 3-5 years of relevant experience in palliative care and value-based healthcare settings.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time.
