Position Overview
The Renewable Energy Project Finance Specialist role is a critical position within rPlus Energies' project finance and capital markets group. The successful candidate will support the capital markets team on project financing transactions and related matters, working closely with cross-functional teams, 3rd party stakeholders, financial counterparties, and investors to ensure the successful execution of debt and tax equity financings for rPlus' renewable energy projects.
General Responsibilities
- Works closely with project finance transaction leaders to close 3rd party debt and tax equity deals to raise capital for rPlus' new renewable energy projects.
- Develops and maintains complex project models and financial analysis tools to support project development decisions and corporate financing efforts.
- Builds and optimizes project financing structures based on available market lending and investment structures.
- Provides strategic and quantitative analysis to guide project development decisions and corporate financing efforts, playing a key role in many top priority company initiatives.
- Creates and advances various project finance deliverables, including proforma models, sensitivity analyses, and standard deal presentations.
- Assists with management of third-party financing providers on deal collateral, due diligence, and documentation.
