Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Cashier. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for ensuring that guests are cordially attended to, from the time they enter our dining rooms and facilities to the time they leave.

Essential Functions

  • Acknowledge the presence of our guests immediately, with a friendly greeting.
  • Utilize the tools provided to stay organized. Learn menu and daily specials, keeping in close communication with management.
  • Bus tables and help maintain cleanliness. Restock/organize areas surrounding the check-out counters.
  • Handle all POS transactions ethically and according to company policies, including all cash, meal plan or swipe, and Cater Trax orders.
  • Accurately make change for all cash-paying guests, maintain proper counts of all transactions, maintain accurate balance in cash drawer at all times, and reconcile cash drawer after every meal.
  • Follow company safety and sanitation policies and procedures.
  • Follow cleaning schedule as provided by management using clean-as-you-go techniques.
  • Follow company attendance policy, including arriving for work timely, following calling-off procedures, and maintaining an acceptable attendance record.
  • Follow the uniform dress code and maintain proper personal hygiene.
  • Follow all guest satisfaction procedures and hospitality imperatives.
  • Work well with others and assist fellow team members as needed.
