Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist to join our team at Bryan Health. As a CT Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality imaging services to patients throughout the age continuum.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform CT procedures under the supervision of a qualified physician, utilizing CT technology and techniques to assist in the diagnosis of patient medical problems.
  • Operate CT equipment, PACS, and other related systems, ensuring optimal image quality and patient safety.
  • Review patient history, provide accurate documentation of studies, and maintain patient confidentiality.
  • Coordinate exams within the department and with other departments to provide expedient and complete care, communicating effectively with medical staff, coworkers, patients, families, and other hospital staff.
  • Participate in the department's quality improvement plan, maintaining clinical competency, and adhering to Joint Commission, federal, and state regulations related to radiography.
Requirements
  • Maintain clinical competency, including age-specific competencies, annual skill competency verification, and mandatory education and competencies.
  • Knowledge of CT positioning, use of technical factors, and radiation safety practices.
  • Ability to react appropriately and perform work effectively under stressful and emergent situations.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and interact effectively with patients, family, staff, and physicians.
