Job Title: Licensed Vocational Nurse

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Licensed Vocational Nurse to join our team at Clarvida, LLC. As a Licensed Vocational Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Under the direction of a medical doctor, provide case management and linkage services for complex clients with multiple medications or conditions.
  • Follow up with medical doctors and pharmacies to ensure prescriptions are filled accurately and promptly.
  • Dispense and administer medications under the supervision of a medical doctor.
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with community resources to assist in case management.
  • Educate clients on various diseases, such as TB, HIV, and hepatitis.
  • Counsel clients on the effects of alcohol and drug use.
  • Teach parenting skills and child development education.
  • Function as a resource to clients, family, and community resources, and allied professionals.

Requirements:

  • Graduate from an accredited vocational nursing school or accredited school for Psychiatric Technicians.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required with computer or business courses.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
  • Current license to practice in the resident state.
  • Valid CA driver's license, valid auto insurance coverage, and proof of education required.
