Job Summary

OCLI Vision is seeking an experienced Ophthalmic Technician 2 to join our team. As an Ophthalmic Technician 2, you will play a vital role in the patient experience, working closely with our doctors to diagnose and treat eye disorders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and record patient vision, including far acuity, near acuity, peripheral vision, depth perception, and color perception
  • Apply drops to anesthetize, dilate, or medicate eyes and collect and process specimens for testing
  • Triage emergency cases and maintain patient flow
  • Prepare patient and procedure rooms and assist ophthalmologists with procedures as needed
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and notify the office manager of any malfunctions

Requirements
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Outgoing and comfortable interacting with patients
  • Dependable problem solver with a positive attitude
  • Flexible and able to adapt to changing situations
  • Knowledge of ocular pharmacology is a plus
