Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist to join our team at Texas Health Frisco. As a Radiology Technologist, you will be responsible for performing complex imaging procedures, positioning patients, and adjusting technique parameters to ensure high-quality images.

Key Responsibilities
  • Explain procedures to patients and their families, ensuring they understand what to expect during the exam.
  • Position patients correctly for imaging procedures, taking into account age-related factors and developmental considerations.
  • Perform complex imaging procedures, including those that require aseptic technique.
  • Process and manipulate images, analyzing quality and making adjustments as needed.
  • Utilize downtime procedures for PACS and HIS/RIS systems.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or associate's degree preferred.
  • 1 year of radiologic technologist experience preferred, with 1 year of hospital experience also preferred.
  • ARRT - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists Radiology certification required upon hire.
  • CMRT - Certified Medical Radiologic Technologist certification required upon hire, either by the TDH or TMB.
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support certification required prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
