Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food Service Worker to join our team at Aramark. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the manager with food and meal preparation, maintaining cash receipts and meal records, and ensuring high standards of quality in food production, sanitation, and kitchen safety practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare quality food and baked goods according to a planned menu, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of taste, presentation, and safety.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate and sanitary storage of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure that all inventory is properly labeled and dated.
  • Cash Handling: Assist with cash receipts and meal records, and ensure that all transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Customer Service: Serve food according to meal schedules, department policies, and procedures, and provide excellent customer service to our guests.
  • Teamwork: Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively, and that our kitchen is a safe and healthy environment for everyone.
Requirements
  • Education: Sufficient education or training to read, write, and follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Experience: Previous experience in food service or a related field is preferred.
  • Skills: Ability to work quickly and concisely under pressure, and to maintain a clean and organized work area.
