Job Summary

Resource Environmental Solutions (RES) is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Ecological Restoration Technician II to join our team based out of our Scenery Hill, PA office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead restoration crews in the implementation of ecological restoration projects, including invasive plant species control, native plant and seed installation, and stream/wetland construction.
  • Assess native ecosystem health and communicate project needs and progress to the Restoration Supervisor or Restoration Manager.
  • Interpret and utilize field maps, engineered plan sets, and specifications for project implementation.
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator/Operator license within the first six months of employment.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a FedMed Certificate and drive a DOT registered truck and trailer within six months of employment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in ecology, biology, zoology, botany, forestry, or other natural resource fields.
  • 1+ years of experience in the field conducting ecological restoration activities.
  • Native and non-native plant identification skills, both herbaceous and woody.
