Patient Registration Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Patient Registration Specialist to join our team at R1 RCM Inc. As a key member of our patient registration department, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient check-in process for our patients.
About the Role
In this dynamic and fast-paced environment, you will be responsible for collecting and processing patient information, responding to inquiries, and providing exceptional customer service to patients and families. You will work closely with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely registration of patients.
To excel in this role, you must be able to multitask effectively, prioritize tasks, and maintain attention to detail in a busy and often chaotic environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as you will interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals on a regular basis.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect and process patient information, including demographic data, insurance details, and medical history
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide clear, concise information about their care
- Work collaboratively with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely registration of patients
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of patient information
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Strong organizational and time management skills
Salary and Benefits
The estimated salary for this position is $15.14 - $18.43 per hour. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, 401(k) retirement plan, and paid time off.
