RESPONSIBILITIES

Weatherford is seeking an Electro/Mechanical Technician for our manufacturing facility. Under general supervision, this role involves performing electro/mechanical assembly of moderate complexity in accordance with established protocols and work instructions. This position is hands-on and rewarding, set in a fast-paced and dynamic manufacturing environment. Weatherford provides comprehensive training on our machinery, competitive pay, benefits, and diverse career development opportunities.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Understand and adhere to Weatherford's Enterprise Excellence Process and Quality Policy, complying with all requirements of the Quality Systems Manual, Operating and Technical Procedures, and Workplace Instructions.
  • Assemble and test completion equipment according to engineered specifications or as directed by others.
  • Utilize hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments such as tapes, gauges, calipers, and micrometers.
  • Inspect finished components for precision and functionality.
  • Conduct hydrostatic testing on components as required.
  • Manage material handling tasks.
  • Maintain company-provided tools and ensure a tidy work environment.
  • Assist in the development of new procedures and the enhancement of existing ones.
  • Employ the PIRF System.
  • Comply with all safety regulations and company policies.
  • Execute work assignments to the highest quality standards.
  • Perform various other duties and tasks as assigned by the supervisor within the physical constraints of the role.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Minimum of 2 years of electrical/mechanical experience.
  • Strong verbal communication skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency.
  • Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
  • Proficient in reading assembly layouts and manufacturing blueprints.
  • Capable of using measuring tools such as tape measures, micrometers, calipers, and oscilloscopes.
  • Experience in safely operating material handling equipment (overhead cranes, forklifts).
  • General understanding of assembly procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with wiring schematics.
  • Soldering experience is required.
  • Experience with downhole tools is preferred.
