Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Staff Nurse II to join our team at Alameda Hospital's Critical Care Unit. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality patient care, collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing wound care, and assisting with daily living activities.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence.
  • Supervise and mentor junior staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of California.
  • Minimum six months experience as a Registered Nurse I with AHS or equivalent experience in a comparable setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred.
