We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Clinical Nurse II to join our team at UCLA Health. As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide exceptional nursing care to patients and their families in the MPU, working under direct supervision to deliver direct nursing care, develop and apply leadership and management concepts, and participate in problem-solving with the health team.
Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and developing and implementing patient care plans
- Assume charge nurse role for the unit in the absence of administrative staff
- Participate in problem-solving with the health team to improve patient care
- Assist in the development and implementation of standards, methods, and tools to improve patient care
- Current California RN license
- BSN or MSN required
- BLS from the American Red Cross or American Heart Association
- 2 years of nursing experience required
- Three years of related experience in a hospital or outpatient setting with GI/Endoscopy procedures preferred
