Staff Registered Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Emergency Department team at Bassett Healthcare Network. As a Staff Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide goal-directed nursing care to patients in the Emergency Department, utilizing the nursing process and primary nursing principles.
- Assess and diagnose patient and family needs, developing a realistic plan of care to address identified needs.
- Implement medical plans of care, nursing interventions, and procedures as necessary, ensuring the highest level of patient care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of nursing care provided, ensuring seamless communication with the healthcare team.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care, promoting a culture of safety and quality.
- 2-year Associate Degree in Nursing, required; 4-year Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, preferred.
- Minimum one year hospital medical/surgical experience, required; critical care nursing experience, preferred.
- Valid NYS Registered Nurse license, required; BLS, ACLS, PALS certifications within 6 months from date of hire, required; TNCC certification within 1 year of date of hire, preferred.
