We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Medical-Surgical Unit at Bassett Healthcare Network. As a Staff Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and contributing to a positive and supportive team environment.
Key Responsibilities- Provide individualized, goal-directed nursing care to patients with diverse medical and surgical needs.
- Assess and diagnose patient and family needs, developing and implementing effective care plans to address identified needs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient information accurately and thoroughly, utilizing electronic medical records to track progress and communicate with healthcare teams.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to stay current with best practices and advancements in medical-surgical nursing.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree required; BSN preferred.
- Valid New York State Registered Nurse license required.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required; national certifications preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
