Industrial Hose Technical Customer Service Specialist

This role is responsible for providing exceptional customer service and technical support to clients in the industrial hose industry.
The ideal candidate will have strong communication and problem-solving skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Provide technical assistance to customers, including part number identification, model code creation, and order entry.
- Assist outside sales personnel with customer requests and quotations.
- Support other departments within the organization to ensure seamless communication and service.
- Expedite customer orders and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Act as a liaison between customers and vendors to ensure smooth interactions.
- Maintain accurate records and provide excellent customer service to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Participate in ongoing training to stay up-to-date on products and services.
- Contribute to process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Three or more years of related work experience preferred.
- Industrial hose or industry experience a plus.
- Excellent interpersonal and telephone skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, vendors, and colleagues.
- Strong mathematical skills and ability to read and follow written work instructions.
- Able to interpret technical instructions and deal with abstract and concrete variables.
- Excellent attention to detail and accurate keyboarding skills.
- Able to define problems, collect data, and draw valid conclusions.
