House Attendant Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused House Attendant to join our team at Holiday Inn Express McAlester. As a House Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel rooms and public areas.

Responsibilities:

  • Room Maintenance: Ensure that all rooms are clean and well-maintained, including dusting, vacuuming, and restocking amenities.
  • Public Area Cleaning: Clean and maintain public areas, including the lobby, hallways, and restrooms.
  • Guest Services: Provide excellent customer service to our guests, including delivering items to their rooms and assisting with luggage.
  • Lost and Found: Handle lost and found items according to hotel standards.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Maintain hotel equipment in proper working order and store it in designated areas.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.

Working Conditions: This position requires standing during entire shifts and working in a fast-paced environment.
