Job Summary

The Housekeeping Attendant is a vital member of our housekeeping team at Holiday Inn Express McAlester. As a Housekeeping Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our hotel's public areas and guest rooms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain High Standards of Cleanliness: Ensure that all public areas and guest rooms are clean and well-maintained, adhering to hotel standards.
  • Deliver Excellent Guest Service: Provide friendly, efficient, and courteous service to guests, including delivering items to guest rooms and assisting with luggage.
  • Handle Lost and Found Items: Process and manage lost and found items according to hotel procedures.
  • Assist with Emergency Procedures: Have knowledge of and assist in all emergency procedures, ensuring the safety and well-being of guests and staff.
  • Maintain Hotel Equipment: Ensure that all hotel equipment is in proper working order and stored in designated areas.
  • Complete Special Projects: Assist the Housekeeping Manager with special projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 50 pounds of force frequently and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects.
  • Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of employees and guests in an attentive, friendly, courteous, and service-oriented manner.
