Job Summary:The Medical Acute Care Nurse will work closely with the interdisciplinary care team to assess, plan, and implement patient care. This includes performing physical assessments, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and providing education to patients and families.
Responsibilities:- Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing procedures, and providing wound care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide education to patients and families on health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
- Document patient care and progress in the medical record.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Colorado.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Experience in acute care nursing, preferably in a medical-surgical or critical care setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
