Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized patient care to patients with ESRD, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing dialysis treatments.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop strategies to address any concerns or issues that arise.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices in dialysis care and to enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in nursing (A.D.N.) from an accredited school of nursing required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); three-year diploma from an accredited diploma program may be substituted for nursing degree.
  • Registered Nurse license in the state of practice.
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required.
  • Meets all applicable state/licensing requirements.
  • Previous dialysis, ICU, CCU, ER, or Med Surg nursing experience preferred but not required.
