Crown Equipment Corporation is seeking a knowledgeable customer-focused auto, diesel, aircraft, or forklift technician to join our team.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled lift truck service technician to provide coverage to Battle Creek and surrounding areas, based out of our Grand Rapids Branch location.

Responsibilities:

  1. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks.
  2. Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks.
  3. Maintain a service van and its inventory.
  4. Process paperwork after completion of each job.

Requirements:

  1. High school diploma or equivalent.
  2. Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics.
  3. Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills.
  4. Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks.
  5. Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred.
