About the Role

As a Sales Associate at Furniture Connection Inc., you will provide customers with a unique shopping experience by offering excellent customer service. You will utilize effective selling techniques and provide in-depth product knowledge in a fast-paced, specialty retail environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

Providing sincere, friendly, and energetic customer service by exemplifying the highest level of service possible
Achieving established sales goals
Maintaining knowledge of current sales and promotions
Utilizing effective selling techniques to build multiple sales and increase productivity
Demonstrating comprehensive product knowledge, including features and benefits
Upholding store maintenance and cleanliness standards, straightening, cleaning, and helping maintain the stockroom as needed
Performing other duties as assigned by management
Complying with all Company policies and procedures

What We Are Looking For

We are excited about you because you have a proven ability to sell, can articulate a proven ability to exceed selling goals, and can close a sale. You succeed in a team environment, while able to work independently and manage your own time. You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and are constantly looking for ways to think outside-the-box. You know what questions to ask your customers in order to understand their personal style and needs. You enjoy discovering the customer's style, lifestyle, and story to connect them to the right products. You are most successful when provided with clearly defined daily sales goals and metrics. You have a high school diploma or equivalent, 1-2 years of customer service experience, and retail sales experience. You have a proven ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. You are able to be mobile on the sales floor for extended periods of time, operate the POS system, and lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 pounds, while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques.
