Job Title: Field Engineer

Omni Inclusive is seeking a highly skilled Field Engineer to join our team. As a Field Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services for our data centers, hospitals, and clinics.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain DC Inventory and update firmware, BIOS, and drivers as needed.
  • Coordinate with vendors for hardware issues and share logs with them for resolution.
  • Manage parts received and returned, and ensure server mounting, rack movement, and network connectivity are properly configured.
  • Work with multiple teams, including Network, VM, Storage, Backup, and Unix, to ensure seamless operations.
  • Provide H&F support at Data Center, MDF, and IDF locations to remote teams.
  • Coordinate with logistics teams for equipment movement and installation.
  • Perform DC cleanup, labeling, and ATS/PDU installation/configuration.
  • Respond to customer queries and handle escalations in a timely manner.
  • Provide technical support for backup devices, rack-stack, and troubleshooting hardware issues.
  • Install, configure, and support network equipment, including large routers, switches, and UPS/PDUs.
  • Manage and support UPS/PDUs connected to network gears and replace faulty batteries.
  • Work on pre-approved projects (PPH) and communicate changes in the network environment through the customer change management process.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years of experience in data center management and technical support.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and Unix servers, VMware, and OEM hardware.
  • Ability to work with multiple teams and vendors to resolve technical issues.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
