Senior Water Resources Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Water Resources Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our water resources department, you will be responsible for providing expert guidance on engineering projects focused on water resources, including civil, hydrologic, and hydraulic modeling and analysis.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in water resources engineering and experience with various H&H and hydrodynamic models, as well as proficiency with model development and mapping software such as ArcGIS. You will also possess excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex technical information to clients and stakeholders.
This is a challenging role that requires a minimum of 8+ years of experience in water resources projects, preferably with a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field. Additionally, knowledge of production support systems and personal computer and software proficiency is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop project scope and provide direction to junior staff
- Collect data through various databases for use in determining model parameters
- Prepare hydrologic, hydraulic, hydrodynamic, and 2D models
- Presents project findings to clients and other external groups
- Prepares reports and directs staff in preparing graphics for reports
