Job Summary

Experience SL Co. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating a fine dining experience for our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that all food is purchased, stored, prepared, and served in accordance with local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Assist the Director of Culinary Services in interviewing, hiring, coaching, training, and developing staff.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs and preferences of our residents.
  • Manage kitchen staff and ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Responsible for maintaining equipment in good working condition and ensuring that the kitchen is clean and safe.
  • Assist with planning and executing special events, banquets, and theme meals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and retention.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior culinary role.
  • Proven track record of success in managing kitchen staff and operations.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
