Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Senior Systems Architect to join our team at Fidelity Wealth Technology. As a key member of our Cash Technology & Platform team, you will play a critical role in modernizing our legacy systems and delivering a roadmap for new systems.

The Purpose

As a Senior Systems Architect on our team, you will be responsible for gaining a deep understanding of our applications, data flow, integrations, and inputs and outputs of the platform. You will work closely with architecture and software engineering to deliver a roadmap for new systems and collaborate with business operations and partner technology teams to formulate software designs and solutions.

The Expertise You Have

  • Deep knowledge of Mainframe COBOL, VSAM files, Batch/Online Process, Batch Scheduler, IOM (Input/Output Modules), and CICS.
  • Proven experience with Structured Query Language (SQL) preferably worked with DB2, Oracle, and/or Postgres and digging into data using logging tools.
  • Proven professional experience as a Systems Analyst for software solutions, preference around modernizing from legacy to cloud systems. Knowledge of payment systems is a bonus.
  • Experience researching, optimizing, developing, and authoring solution requirements, user stories, and specifications for moderate to complex software systems.
  • Proven experience with Agile development methodologies.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technology discipline.
