Key Responsibilities- Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and carpentry work;
- Identify and report any deficiencies or issues with building systems and equipment;
- Assist with refurbishment projects and repairs;
- Operate maintenance equipment, including hand and power tools, company vehicles, and snow blowers;
- Perform electrical work, including repairing and replacing switches, receptacles, lights, and motors;
- Perform minor plumbing repairs and installations;
- Respond to work orders in a timely manner and perform follow-up calls as needed;
- Complete work within scheduled time frames, according to budget and priority set by supervisor;
- Repair and maintain equipment in resident units and in community;
- Maintain emergency equipment for facility systems;
- Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner to promote effective and safe operations;
- Utilize a wide array of tools, including carpentry tools, electrical tools, mechanical tools, masonry tools, and plumbing tools;
- May perform painting tasks, as assigned;
- Perform related essential duties as required.
