POSITION SUMMARY
As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for serving food and beverages to guests in a professional manner. You will set tables in accordance with event types and service standards, while also addressing any inquiries regarding menu options. It is essential to maintain clear communication with the kitchen staff concerning menu queries, wait times, re-cook orders, and product availability.
Additionally, you will need to relay any special meal requirements, allergies, dietary restrictions, and unique requests to the kitchen team. Recording transactions accurately in the MICROS system at the time of order is a crucial part of your responsibilities. Regularly checking in with guests to ensure their satisfaction with each course and beverage is expected.
Maintaining cleanliness in work areas, including china and glassware, throughout your shift is vital. You will also be tasked with completing closing duties, such as restocking items and ensuring all areas are tidy.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Follow all company policies and safety protocols; report any accidents or unsafe conditions to management.
- Maintain a professional appearance and uphold confidentiality of proprietary information.
- Welcome and acknowledge all guests, anticipating their service needs and providing assistance to individuals with disabilities.
- Communicate effectively with colleagues and support team goals.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and expectations.
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting and moving objects as necessary.
- Complete other reasonable job duties as assigned by supervisors.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience required.
License or Certification: None required.
