We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Outpatient Registration Coordinator to join our team at PIH Health. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a critical role in ensuring seamless patient access to our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Registration and Pre-Registration: Accurately and efficiently register and pre-register patients for outpatient services, ensuring all necessary information is collected and processed in a timely manner.
  • Patient Liability Calculation: Calculate and secure patient liability, including copayments, coinsurance, and deductibles, in an efficient and accurate manner.
  • Communication and Customer Service: Provide excellent written and verbal communication skills to communicate effectively with staff, patients, guarantors, insurance companies, and physicians.
  • Attention to Detail: Demonstrate attention to detail and good English speaking, spelling, reading, and mathematical skills to ensure accuracy in all tasks.
  • Computer Skills: Possess strong computer skills and knowledge in Word, Excel, and the ability to navigate multiple screens in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • Experience: One year of experience in a high-volume healthcare facility or medical office setting with strong computer and customer service experience.
  • Education: High school graduate or equivalent, with evidence of continuing education preferred.
  • Skills: Medical terminology knowledge, insurance and billing experience, and strong analytical skills, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
