Weekend Nurse Practitioner

Aspire Health Group is seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our team in Tampa, Florida. As a Weekend Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) setting.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with the SNF's interdisciplinary team and physicians to reduce hospitalizations on weekends.
- Work with the entire facility's patient population, including short and long-term residents, with the assistance of the facility's nursing staff and guidance from the facility's medical directors and attending physicians.
- Evaluate new-admission visits, coordinate discharge visits, and evaluate patients exhibiting changes in condition.
- Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol in the direct management of acute and chronic illness and disease.
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments, perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients, and develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities, communicate with attending physicians and/or specialists regarding patient care, and provide benefits to patients and their loved ones.
- Advanced Practice Licensure (APN) with a Florida license.
- Active license and DEA number.
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields.
- Ability to build rapport with patients and their loved ones, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong leadership experience with emphasis on teamwork in a healthcare setting and a Master's degree.
