We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Calle Dragones, where we craft experiences that celebrate the soul of Cuban cuisine. As a key member of our kitchen team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare outstanding dishes for our guests, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
- Set up station according to restaurant guidelines, ensuring a clean and organized workspace.
- Prepares all food items as directed in a sanitary and timely manner, following recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications.
- Restocks all items as needed throughout the shift, maintaining a well-stocked station.
- Cleans and maintains station while practicing exceptional safety, sanitation, and organizational skills.
- Assists with cleaning, sanitation, and organization of the kitchen, walk-in coolers, and all storage areas.
- Immediately report all suspicious occurrences and hazardous conditions.
- Basic understanding of professional cooking and knife handling.
- Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation, and food handling procedures.
- Previous prep or line cook experience is required.
- Food handlers permit required.
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
- A dynamic and supportive work environment.
