Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Engineer to join our Data Center Power & Control Division in Canonsburg, PA. As a Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and processes, and contributing to the success of our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement quality standards and control plans for industrial processes, materials, products, and external suppliers.
  • Manage the Material Review Board (MRB) process and control nonconforming goods in accordance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
  • Support continuous improvement activities and ensure transfer to production of new products in accordance with approved data.
  • Manage quality control CAPA databases and ensure timely and accurate completion of quality concerns.
  • Assist in executing internal audits and ensuring closure of resulting corrective actions.
  • Implement proactive quality processes and procedures to improve overall customer quality.
  • Audit previously initiated corrective actions to ensure continued compliance.
  • Assist quality manager in ISO 9001:2015 sustainability and continued success.
  • Assist in quality training as needed.
  • Assist with calibration program.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field preferred.
  • Three to five years of prior quality control experience with proven implementation of quality systems and tools.
  • Prior experience working in a manufacturing operation required.
  • Strong computer skills including experience using database and spreadsheet programs.
  • Experience with an enterprise resource planning program.
  • Flexibility for minimal travel (~10%).
Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of 3rd angle geometric drawings interpreting datums, GDT and customer specifics as required.
  • Knowledge of quality principles including 5S, Kaizen Lean Methods.
  • Knowledge of root cause analysis techniques and procedures.
  • Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
