Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Management Director to join our team at Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) HQ. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of facilities management strategies and programs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in meetings to gather and exchange pertinent information regarding facilities management and operations.
  • Analyze financial and performance measurement data to assess needs and propose mitigations for facilities management.
  • Develop and implement tactical and strategic plans and objectives for the development and use of facilities and workforce to support the command's mission.
  • Oversee the preparation of statistical and financial reports to inform facilities management decisions.
Requirements
  • Must be a US Citizen.
  • Must be determined suitable for federal employment.
  • Must participate in the direct deposit pay program.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty.
  • Must be able to travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites.
Qualifications
  • At least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-13 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
  • Knowledge and experience in facilities management or program management.
  • Knowledge of management and supervisory principles.
  • Knowledge of the Navy Shore Installation program.
  • Knowledge of and skill in applying DoD, DON and CNIC financial and programming processes.
