The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, the ability to work independently, and a strong understanding of facilities management principles.
Key Responsibilities- Manage staff, including hiring, goal setting, planning, and delegation of work, training, and development coaching/mentoring, and completing performance evaluations.
- Ensure leased office space is operated and maintained in a professional, cost-effective, and safe manner in accordance with the lease.
- Coordinate response to all operational and maintenance needs of the building systems, conduct safety inspections, and take corrective action as needed.
- Manage day-to-day service and support functions, such as vending and break room service, janitorial, security officer services, recycling, access control, and building operation systems.
- Work closely with business operations liaison and other staff on all procurements, serve as contract manager for contracts related to facilities management and mail services, and oversee physical security administration.
- Oversee mail service operations and support functions to ensure customer service needs are met and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local guidelines.
- Assist the Director with implementation and management of major program activities, such as the Physical Safety and Security Program, Go Green Program, and other special projects assigned.
- Participate in providing Catastrophe Operations support and response as needed during CAT Prep, mock events, and actual emergency events.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Bachelor's Degree OR 3 years relevant experience, OR a combination of college education and relevant experience equivalent to 3 years.
- 5 or more years' experience in the field of facilities management, property management, or like profession, with experience in space planning, interpreting building plans, and supervisory/management experience.
- 7 or more years' experience in the field of facilities management, property management, or like profession.
- Certified Facility Manager (CFM) certification.
- Facility Management Administrator (FMA) or RPA designation.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD Software.
