Job Summary

Noblis is seeking a highly skilled ETL Developer to join our team. As an ETL Developer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and accurate movement of data across systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and maintain robust ETL processes to extract, transform, and load data from various sources into data warehouses and other storage solutions.
  • Work closely with data analysts, database administrators, and other stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide solutions that support business intelligence and reporting efforts.
  • Develop ETL mappings to extract data from source data systems, transform the data based on business requirements, and load the data into target data systems.
  • Conduct performance tuning of the mappings developed to ensure that the data is extracted, transformed, and loaded in a reasonable amount of time based on the requirements.
  • Develop Business Intelligence (BI) reports using BI software and perform unit testing of the reports developed.
  • Create or update detailed design information.
  • Access and review the code repository, administer code reviews, adjust unit testing, maintain build support, including continuous integration, sustain operational support activities, and respond to mission-critical requests.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, or other related analytical, scientific, or technical discipline with 8 years of experience; additional six (6) years of experience is considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Proficiency with Power BI, data analysis, data query, data aggregation, data visualization, software development, system architecture, data transformation, data management, and big data technology.
  • Experience in writing complex statements, scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views to implement business intelligence and data warehousing solutions.
  • Solid foundation in and application of data warehousing and reporting platform concepts with the ability to recommend solutions and drive best practices.
  • Experience with data pipelines, including data extraction, transformation, integration, and loading.
  • Experience developing, monitoring, and troubleshooting ETL workflows and processes.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Familiarity with multiple business intelligence environments.
  • Experience operating in a scaled agile (SAFe) environment.
  • Experience with Atlassian Suite of tools; Jira, Confluence.
  • Strong self-organization and self-management skills, with emphasis on self-initiation, teamwork, and follow-through.
  • Strong professional and interpersonal skills.
