Computed Tomography Technologist, Evening Shift

Job Summary:

As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist, you will operate CT equipment to produce high-quality images of patients' bones, organs, and tissue, which will be used to diagnose medical conditions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate CT scanners to produce cross-sectional images of patients
  • Perform a variety of imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy
  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for patients ranging in age from adolescence through geriatric
  • Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation
  • Use PACS and teleradiology systems to correctly transfer images to the appropriate location
  • Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information
  • Ensure the integrity of patient medical images and data while adhering to HIPAA and other patient confidentiality guidelines and regulations
  • Perform routine maintenance and calibration of equipment and manage supply inventory
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (preferred)
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT))
  • Advanced Certification in the modality of CT (required)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required)
  • Fluoroscopy license in the state of employment (preferred)
  • Venipuncture certification (preferred)
